Combining Glass and Paper
This work aimed to combine 2 Dimensional Engraved work with 3- Dimensional Glasswork to explore the ability of refracting light onto the work.
I personally feel like the glass is too dislocated and busy for the piece and that it lacks depth on the wallspace.
The Video below shows the process of making the crackled glass bubble displayed on the left hand side of this piece.

Fallen Flora
Previously tested on a smaller scale, Fallen flora has adapted flora depth. I now feel the weight of the work and the interaction with fishing line makes the work look rough and I find myself more drawn to the shadows as work than the paper pieces. I would like to try suspending these higher to create more of a focal point on the shadows. I think this would work by creating a frame to suspend the line from and raising the flora out of viewpoint , allowing the viewer to focus more on the shadows than the flora.

Trellis and Glass Composition Test
Created to define the boundary between traditional and modern material. The structured frame sits below a slumped glass vessel and crackled glass both have effects on the refraction of light. The base is fairly rigid and engineered whilst the glass is left to gravity and chance.
I feel the rigidity of the acrylic being rectangular dislocates the piece from the space and the projection. if this was to be the shape of the intended projection it would provide more sculptural stability to the piece. I feel it also restricts the glass to reflect freely and controls its reflection to a shape.
Closer to the light source, Layered Glass was positioned to experiment with the refraction of light and the way this changed from individual to combined glassware.

The Mobile
Representational of a Mobile used above a child's cot to aid stimulation, this piece combines gravity and the delicacy of two very different materials. Both  materials used were derived from waste material used in previous concepts. The combination of delicate foxgloves and the knotted Glass structures prove engaging to the eye. the natural forms in glass are decided by the fate of how it falls whilst the Film Cut-outs , remnants of protecting the acrylic base .
I feel this piece would benefit from some scale or depth, however I would lie to explore the impact of depth amongst other pieces such as trellis and the impact it gains from its shadows or plays on another artworks perception.
