Based on the furniture archives of Manchester Art Gallery, Extracting Heritage was part of a wider showcase called Wont Sit Still. This was a collaborative Exhibition presenting key themes which related directly to Manchester Art Gallery.
Extracting Heritage was linked to the understanding of tradition in domestic environments, linking directly to the furniture donated by many stately homes in the 20th century, to Manchester Art Gallery.
